About
Daily is a home & office work management tool that helps increasing the efficiency of both works at once. It is designed so that the characteristics of each house and office work can be flexibly performed, focusing on the specificity of the house environment, not the office.
Role & Process
I have conducted research in current management service and worked on behavior analysis to predict various cases. Proceeded user persona, daily task analysis, ux concept, wireframe, and iterated design based on user testing. And completed the final solution design with the prototype.

Background & Problems
There is no home & office management tool optimized for Remote
Although the proportion of remote has increased due to COVID-19, there is no home and office management tool that can efficiently control work and housework.
Goal
Aim to increase the efficiency of home and office tasks that can clearly distinguish the characteristics of each job and household, but can be managed flexibly.

Competitive Analysis
All current work management tools which support user customization functions optimized only for office business management. However, there were no improvements or new functions to the necessary management functions according to the change in the work environment due to the spread of remote. Final goal is to reduce the inconvenience of work and housework caused by remote through a clear distinction between housework & work and flexibly adjust the work environment.

Flexible home office to balance housework and work without compromising work efficiency
Concept
Working from home, there are more things to pay attention to households. Therefore, there is a limit concentrating work in the house space. Currently, work and housework must be performed at the same time without any management system, causing chronic fatigue, decreased concentration and increased stress on housework that could not be handled easily. To solve these problems, it needs a design that can provide a balance of daily work life routine at home.
Target Users
Workers whose work and housework have been out of balance while working from home
A mode selection solution was applied that allows easy mode change and flexible control of housework and work at home. Through this, a design was derived that increased the efficiency of both housework and work and added flexibility.

Flexibility
As remote increased, there was a
situation in which housework and office tasks had to be performed simultaneously at home. It is designed to facilitate work through a mode that allows each task to be flexibly performed in a limited space.

Efficiency
In the case of remote, a conflict between housework and tasks causes difficulty in performing at the same time. As a way to
reduce the workload, it is designed to easily request family or team members if help is needed in housework & office work.

Designed to communicate and control quickly in an emergency so that users can focus on situations.
Conclusion
There is no end and perfection in design
We set up the Minimum Viewable Product (MVP) for 12 weeks to define and design the most important and user-required features. As we went through the process of devising three key functions, we found problems every moment and constantly looked for areas to be corrected. By this process, I realized again that there is no end to design and there can be no perfection.
